Collection Instructions
Please collect a DEDICATED serum tube (Gold cap OR red cap w. yellow insert).
Due to the clinical urgency of these samples, all specimens must be sent to the laboratory immediately.
It is not advisable to transport these specimens via the Pneumatic Tube System (PTS) due to the precious nature of them and the potential delay in transport.
