Please also request a Full Blood Examination (FBE), as this is required to quantitate absolute values and must be collected at the same time.
For routine B cell analysis, please request lymphocyte subsets, including B cells, refer to Lymphocyte Subsets - Flow Cytometry (Blood). |

Collection Instructions
|
- Please collect DEDICATED 1 x Lithium Heparin (no gel) tube AND 1 x EDTA tube.
- This test is time critical, sample must reach the referral laboratory within 24 hours from collection.
- Specimen must only be collected afternoons, SUNDAY-THURSDAY. DO NOT COLLECT THE DAY BEFORE A PUBLIC HOLIDAY.
