Consider using this test for patients presenting with fever and respiratory symptoms. Investigate and manage patients for respiratory illness using standard practices. |

Collect a DEDICATED sample for this test request. Dry swabs and bacterial blue top swabs have reduced sensitivity and are not recommended.
All staff performing collections should practice and use appropriate PPE including gloves, mask, gown and goggles. |
