Measure 7 and 14 days post each dose of Peg-Asparaginase.

Purpose is to detect silent inactivation (day 7) and to determine duration of activity (day 14) which could potentially be used to guide dosing.

Request slip must state the type of asparaginase preparation and time interval since last dose.

  • Centrifuge, aliquot, and freeze plasma within 2 hours of collection.
  • Use pipette to transfer all of plasma into a cryovial (See Haem Reg ph:03 9496 5981 or Ryan from Clinical Trials ph:03 9496 5922 for tube).
  • Place sample in Frozen (-20°C) Sendout tub
