This assay is for the detection of NPM1 mutations at initial diagnosis. Usually requested with FLT3 which has the same test code AFLTNP. If NPM1 MRD (Minimal Residual Disease) is requested this is a send out to Alfred Hospital using MISCSO test code and must be received by the Alfred lab within 48 hours of collection.
